Did Inter Miami dominate Toronto FC?

Inter Miami win Toronto FC clash sparks a powerful offensive response for Inter Miami CF as they come out on top with a 4-2 defeat of Toronto FC in MLS. The win bounced back the last time, helping Miami get back on track and boost their record in the standings.

Inter Miami had a couple of players on the score sheet, and it was an explosive, but balanced, match. The impact moments started with a great set-piece by Rodrigo De Paul just before half-time. His free kick from far was cleared over the bar but he was quick to put his right foot on the ball and drive it home to give Miami a 1-0 advantage.

Toronto FC had to play hard on the ground but Miami maintained their composure and control of key moments. The visitors got their chance to extend their lead early in the second half, and Luis Suárez made a wonderful pass for Lionel Messi, who later netted a fine assist. The goal was found in the 56th minute when Suárez cleverly dribbled into the box and calmly hammered the ball through with his left foot.

Lionel Messi was in the thick of things all night, and not just with his score, as he found two ways to move the ball forward that helped Toronto break the Jags’ defence. He added another testament to his impact on the Miami offense with his passing and vision.

Sergio Reguilón also made his mark on the scoreboard, and Messi had a goal to follow with a brilliant attack. Toronto FC took a breather thanks to a brace from Emilio Aristizabal but it proved incapable of changing the game.
